Seven Mile Elementary Launches our Student Expectations

A really special and fun assembly took place at Seven Mile Elementary to share our Expectations with every students. These Expectations are part of our PBIS initiative. PBIS is a system that reinforces and rewards positive behavior. Our students receive positive praise and affirmation when the desired expectations are used in the classroom, hallway, lunchroom, on the bus or anywhere outside of school. Our Expectations include:

Seven Mile Creates PBIS "MonStars"

During the first day back for teachers and staff at Seven Mile Elementary, the focus was completely dedicated to PBIS. The team spent the day working on creative ways to share this initiative with their students. Everyone was challenged to create a "MonStar" that could be used to help convey our new Character Traits to our students. The staff had 15 minutes to create "monStars" from anything they could find in the building. It was incredible to see how creative this staff can be along with generating a lot of excitement for the new school year!

Medication Permit Information for Students

A medication permit form will need to be completed for the 2018-2019 school year for any prescription and non-prescription medication that needs to be taken by a student while at school. This permit must be completed by the student's parent and physician.
